Dear colleagues,

Some of our American colleagues might be interested to know that the  

Alberta Institute for American Studies (of which I am a Fellow) has  

established through the Canada-US Fulbright program a University of  

Alberta Chair in American Studies. We have already filled the position  

for 2009-10, and the competition for 2010-11 is now open, with an  

August deadline for applications from colleagues in the United States  

who have a strong interest in US public policy or American Studies  

(broadly understood, so as to include US tort law).
